Rules and Regulations
A government registered entity, National Human Rights Organization functions on the principles and ideologies of universal human rights. Our mission is to empower people at large with the knowledge of their birth rights, secure justice and promote peace. Every individual associated with NHRO are, hence, liable to abide by all pre-set rules and regulations governing the activities of this organization.
Elaborating the Norms of NHRO
1. Rules for General Members
Any likeminded individual can become a general member of NHRO. The only condition is to have persistent faith in human rights and the objectives of this organization.
- We welcome everyone who shall willingly take up the responsibility of promoting birth rights.
- People who are interested in imparting knowledge without discrimination can become an NHRO general member.
- Those ready to work on-the-ground for spreading our common message can join us any day.
Membership can be attained against a nominal annual fee. Note that this charge is subject to periodic revisions by the organization, as deemed necessary.
The stronger team we have, the better work we can do.
2. Rules for District Level Committee Member
With higher position comes increased opportunity to initiate better differences. NHRO expands the scope for general members to make bigger contributions with more influence. They can upgrade their positions as District Level Committee Members and serve in that designation for 1 year. However, the following conditions must be fulfilled before enrolment:
- The individual must be suitable for the position.
- He/she must be willing to carry out the assigned tasks.
- His/her contribution to the organization as a general member should be for at least 1 year.
Besides, an enrolment can happen adhering to the following norms:
- An eligible general member can join the district committee directly on recommendation of the National Committee.
- The membership duration of such members may be shortened or extended by the National Committee.
- On becoming a District Committee member, individuals need to pay the relevant membership fee for this position.

3. Rules for State Level Committee Member
NHRO has a working committee on the State Level. General members may join this category for duration of 1 year, provided they have dedicatedly contributed to NHRO’s growth and endeavors. Following are the pre-conditions for this enrolment:
- The individual should be both eligible and keen to take up necessary responsibilities.
- He/she must have actively participated in the activities and development of NHRO for at least 2 consecutive years.
In addition to the above conditions, a general member can attain membership of the State Level Committee by direct recommendation of the NHRO National Committee. He/she needs to pay the one-time fee levied for this category. The membership validity may also be extended or reduced by the National Committee, if deemed necessary.
4. Rules for Honorary Member
National Human Rights Organization would be delighted to welcome an honorary member on board. Any individual having an outstanding achievement in the fields of work, service, performance, knowledge or creativity can join us as an honorary member.
- The individual, however, must possess unflinching faith in the mission and vision of NHRO.
- There is no membership fee imposed on this category.
- During the times of emergency, an honorary member can temporarily serve in the National Committee for decision-making and more.
- They can also participate and share their opinions in the meetings conducted by National Committee.
After all, experience is a valuable source of knowledge.
5. Rules for Donor Member
Finance plays a crucial role in driving a mission ahead. Therefore, every monetary contribution matters in the successful promotion of human rights. We welcome individuals who are willing to donate in cash or kind for the fulfilment of our aims and objectives. NHRO expresses gratitude by enrolling them as our donor members. Not only individuals but any organization or institution of good integrity can also become donor members. Participation from every stratum shall only fortify this global mission of creating a human rights culture.
If values are our strength, finance is our pillar.
6. Rules for Patrons
Our society houses numerous eminent personalities who have tasted success over the years. Having them on board would be a privilege, providing the much-needed boost to our endeavors. Those with exemplary caliber and proven excellence in diverse fields, including performance, education, knowledge, service, work or creativity can be engaged as patrons in NHRO.
- Patrons are not liable to deposit any fee for their membership.
- They are not liable to vote or attend meetings of the National Committee or General Body.
- Their views and opinions are, however always welcomed owing to the benefit of this organization and its objectives.
7. Rules regarding Member Enrolment Procedure
Interested members can enroll themselves in their preferred categories following the procedure below:
a. Organizations, institutions or any independent being willing to get enrolled as an NHRO member needs to approach the secretary with their applications.
b. They must also provide all the required information accurately in the form.
c. Membership payments are received through receipt and appropriate documentation in our bank account.
d. Any incorrect detail or information may lead to the cancellation of membership or consequences as necessary.
The right to accept, deny or continue any membership lies with the National Committee of NHRO. The department shall not be liable to assign any cause whatsoever. The decision will be considered ultimate in this case.
8. Rules regarding Termination of Membership
National Human Rights Organization works for a cause that impacts humans and humanity worldwide. In this noble mission, we expect every contributor to foster a spirit of honesty, faith and belief.
a. If any member of the organization is found working against its aims, objectives, interests and reputation, it shall lead to the termination of his/her membership. The complete decision rests with the National Committee.
b. Violation or breach of NHRO’s terms and conditions may invite legal consequences, ceasing the individual’s or organization’s membership.
c. Membership will be terminated in cases of death, resignation, insolvency, unsound mind or criminal offence.
d. If any individual fails to pay membership fees or other dues for 3 consecutive months, it shall again cease his/her association with NHRO.
e. Membership is terminated when an individual fails to attend National Committee meetings for continuous 3 months. During urgencies, one can avoid such consequences by submitting a written application to the President or Secretary beforehand. It should highlight an authentic cause of this long absence clearly.
Note that any NHRO member can willingly drop his/her resignation citing actual reasons to the President or the Secretary. Once accepted, the membership cannot be restored again.
